Feed Me First... from Meena Schaldenbrand


Enjoyed making this fun postcard for a pink challenge that brings back fond memories of feeding my 3 young grandbabies who were very close in age and were hungry at the same time.  As they got older, milk bottles have been replaced by donuts, their favorite new treats.

I also challenged myself to use recycled materials. The background is  made from a white dryer sheet that was colored pink.  A pink bubble wrap envelope was reused as the border and the wrench handle.  The silver wrenches are from an aluminum foil circle from packaging. Christmas decorating fun from Quilting & Learning

I love seeing our Christmas tree full of ornaments bought, inherited, received and made over the years. It's also the time when those Christmas runners, placemats and wall hangings get to come out and shine.

Each year I try to make a little something for the tree or the house. I found the tutorial for the Christmas bell - the bell was supposed to be made of "sheer paper cloth" but I used organza backed with light stabilizer instead.
